For Children & Families

Youth & Family Services

Community-based mental health services designed to support children, adolescents, and their families through structured, individualized care. Our programs focus on emotional regulation, behavior support, and stability at home, at school, and in the community.

Support Designed for Children and Families

Children and adolescents facing emotional or behavioral challenges often need more support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide. Our Youth & Family Services deliver coordinated, evidence-informed care in the settings where challenges actually show up: schools, homes, and the community. The focus is on stability, skill building, and stronger family dynamics.

Levels of Support for Children and Families

Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT)

School-based mental health support delivered during the school day for students struggling with behavior, emotions, or peer relationships. TDT helps students stay in their current school by building emotional regulation, social skills, and the classroom skills needed for success.

Intensive In-Home Services

Family-centered, in-home support for children and teens facing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. Services are delivered in the home and community, where behaviors actually occur, with the goal of stabilizing the family, strengthening relationships, and preventing more restrictive placements like hospitalization or foster care.

How Youth & Family Services Work

A coordinated, family-centered approach focused on skill development and stability.
1.

Assessment

Each family begins with a clinical assessment that reviews behavioral concerns, emotional needs, family dynamics, and any other supports already in place. The assessment determines eligibility and shapes recommendations for the most appropriate level of care.
2.

Individualized Planning

An Individualized Service Plan (ISP) is developed based on the assessment. The plan sets clear behavioral and emotional goals, identifies the strategies and supports needed to reach them, and lays out what success looks like for the child and family.
3.

Service Delivery

Services are delivered in schools, homes, or community settings depending on the program. The work focuses on skill development, family support, and the day-to-day functioning that helps children stay successful at home and in school.
4.

Ongoing Monitoring

Our team stays in regular communication with caregivers, schools, medical providers, and other supports involved in the child's care. Services are reviewed and adjusted as the child grows and as needs change.
