Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Brothers' Keeper, Inc. website located at www.brotherskeeperinc.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Brothers' Keeper, Inc. ("Brothers' Keeper," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed behavioral health provider based in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Use of this Site does not, by itself, create a provider-patient relationship between you and Brothers' Keeper. A provider-patient relationship is established only after intake, assessment, and formal enrollment in one of our services.

Purpose of the Site

The Site is designed to share information about Brothers' Keeper, the services we offer, our team, and how to contact us. The Site is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or clinical advice.

The information on this Site is general in nature and may not reflect the most current clinical guidelines, service availability, or eligibility requirements. Program details, insurance acceptance, service offerings, and other information may change without notice.

Content on the Site, including service descriptions, blog posts, and general information about mental health and behavioral health topics, is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare provider.

Crisis and Emergency Notice

The Site is not intended for use in a mental health emergency or medical crisis.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or in a life-threatening situation, do one of the following right away:

Call 911 for medical emergencies.

Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

Do not rely on the Site's contact form for emergency support. Contact form submissions are reviewed during regular business hours and may not receive an immediate response.

No Provider-Patient Relationship

Visiting the Site, submitting a contact form, or communicating with our team through the Site does not establish a provider-patient relationship between you and Brothers' Keeper. A provider-patient relationship is established only after you have completed a formal intake process, been accepted into one of our services, and executed the necessary consent and treatment documentation.

Any information you share through the Site is not protected under the same confidentiality standards as information shared within an established therapeutic relationship. Please do not share detailed personal health information through the Site's contact forms. If you become a client, all communications will be handled in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable, and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any connected systems or networks.

Impersonate another person or organization when contacting us.

User Submissions

If you submit information through the Site, such as a contact form or inquiry, you represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the authority to share it. If you are submitting information about another person, such as a family member or someone in your care, you represent that you have the appropriate authority or consent to do so.

Brothers' Keeper may retain submissions in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Brothers' Keeper makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Site, the accuracy or completeness of Site content, or the availability of any service described on the Site.
